Computer Command “Tech Swag” Giveaway Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
1. Eligibility:  The Computer Command “Tech Swag” Giveaway (the "Promotion") is open only to Current Active Duty US Military Personnel (US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and Coast Guard). Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Computer Command("Sponsor"), its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, fulfillment and promotion agencies (“promotion parties”) , and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings) and/or those living in the same households of each are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law.
2. Promotion Period: The Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. on the first (1st) day of each month and ends at 11:59 p.m. on the last day of each month (“promotion period”). The Promotion will be continued each month at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Eligible entries are good only for the promotion period in which they are entered. Entries do NOT carry forward to subsequent promotion periods. Eligible entrants must re-enter each month to qualify for the next drawing.
3. How to Enter:

         a. Online Entry: During the Promotion Period, go to www.compcommand.com ("Website") and click on the giveaway link to locate the official entry form. Follow the on-screen directions to enter ("Online Entry"). Entrants must complete all required information. LIMIT ONE ONLINE ENTRY PER PERSON/E-MAIL ADDRESS. The ONLINE entries will be combined with the IN-STORE entries for each monthly drawing.
         b. In-Store: Stop by our retail location in Norfolk, VA and register in person. LIMIT ONE IN-STORE ENTRY PER PERSON/E-MAIL ADDRESS. The IN-STORE entries will be combined with the ONLINE entries for each monthly drawing.
         c. Combined On-Line and In-Store entries will not count as more than one entry for any one participant.

4. Monthly Prize Drawing: On or about the first (1st) day of each month, the Contest Administrator will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible Online and In-Store registered entries received during the Promotion Period. One entrant (the "Finalist") will be selected as the winner of the giveaway. The Finalist’s entry information will be validated to insure they are current Active Duty and eligible for the prize. Any Finalist determined to be ineligible will be disqualified from the prize drawing. In this instance, the Contest Administrator will redraw from the remaining entries to determine the Finalist for that month.
5. Prizes, Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") & Odds:
One Prize (1) per monthly drawing:  One (1) brand name new notebook or netbook computer. The brand may be any currently available. The ARV of the monthly prize is $500.00. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize is permitted except at Sponsor's sole discretion. If prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Arrangements for delivery of prize will be performed after winner validation. LIMIT ONE (1) PRIZE PER PERSON/EMAIL ADDRESS/HOUSEHOLD. Odds of winning any prize depend on the number of entries received. Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
6. General Rules: All federal, state and local laws apply. The return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or failure to return any documents in a timely manner may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be chosen. By participating, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Promotion Parties from and against any and all liability or damages associated with this Promotion or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize received in this Promotion. Promotion Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or administration of the Promotion. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners' names and likenesses for purposes of advertising and publicity without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and decisions of the Contest Administrator, which shall be final in all matters relating to the Promotion. Promotion Parties are not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors or for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion, or by any human, or other error, which may occur in this Promotion. If, in the Contest Administrator's sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Promotion, the Contest Administrator reserves the right to void suspect entries and/or modify and/or terminate the Promotion and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all known eligible non-suspect entries received. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries made will be declared made by the name appearing on the entry form at the time of initial registration. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Promotion or Website or acts in a disruptive manner. This Promotion is offered only to active duty US Military Personnel and is governed by the laws of the State of Virginia. By entering, entrants irrevocably consent to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Virginia located in the city of Norfolk for any action, suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Promotion.
7. Waiver: By participating in this Promotion, participant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees or any damages.
8. Winners' List: To receive a copy of the Winners' List for this Promotion, mail a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: Winner's List, Computer Command “Tech Swag” Giveaway, 155 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk VA 23505. You must indicate for which month and year you want a copy, no earlier than October 2009.
